Tactical Edge
What is Tactical Edge?
The Tactical Edge system was originally created by Mark Davies as a close-combat system for Special Forces and as such it had to be suitable for use by someone after they had performed a long and arduous infiltration carrying a heavy load, a weapon and were fatigued. Or by someone who was in less-than-perfect condition in an escape and evasion scenario. This meant that the methods used had to be efficient and not rely on physical strength or require extended periods of exertion. The idea was to eliminate the threat in less than 5 seconds regardless of what it was. The initial concept was also to create a system that allowed a seamless transition between unarmed combatives and armed combatives, utilising the same or similar movements for both.
