What will I Learn at Kids Kickboxing?
You will learn the art of kickboxing which includes the strikes from western boxing with the kicks from various martial arts across the globe. We also cover material drawn from the other arts taught at the gym to make your child a well rounded martial artist. This is a fantastic course and will give your child everything they could want from the martial arts. During the class the children will get fitter. We use same fitness methods used in the adult classes but make them suitable for children. Rest assured your child will see increased fitness in a very short time and will have fun doing it at the same time. Your child will learn values such as honour, respect and discipline. Through the increased confidence your child will have you will see that they are less likely to become a victim to bullies.
Gradings
The children will be tested roughly every two to three months to check on their progress. The gradings are a great way to keep the children motivated and training hard as they want to reach their next belt. Gradings are held during class time and the children are asked to perform the material they have learned during their training. They are then awarded a belt and certificate upon demonstrating the techniques learned. The gradings are free and included in the monthly training fees.
